CELF Summer Institute Outcomes

At the end of this workshop, teachers will have a greater understanding sustainability and systems thinking as they relate to teaching and learning.

Teachers will gain resources and skills to infuse sustainability education through best practices in content and pedagogy.

Participants will identify sustainability opportunities for students within their schools, as well as local opportunities for community engagement.

In addition, participants will gain knowledge of other schools' and teachers' approach to sustainability.

Each participant will return to school in the fall with a complete unit, lesson plan or scope and sequence prepared to teach sustainability in the classroom.
