CELF Summer Institute for
Sustainability Education

July 14 - 18, 2008
Hours: 830am - 3:30pm daily

at Manhattanville College, Purchase, NY

Credit options:

  • two (2) in-service credits earned, based on their district policy
  • three(3) graduate credits through Manhattanville College (see registration)

One of the most comprehensive sustainability professional development programs of  its kind in the U.S., the annual CELF Summer Institute is designed to provide the technical and scientific background, the curriculum framework and materials  necessary for integrating sustainability education into K-12 schools.

CELF's Summer Institute uses top experts and proven programs in Sustainability Education and Systems Thinking. Working with public and independent schools, universities, government and NGO's across the country, the Institute was developed to offer a unique blend of core curriculum connections, essential sustainability content knowledge and individual guidance for the most relevant and rigorous curriculum.
