"It was an honor to be a part of the Expo.
I’ve spent the last 30 years trying to get people to listen about sustainability. The interest expressed by the students was truly heartwarming."

“Getting kids motivated about the environment ripples far beyond them. It means they will discuss it with their friends, and also with their parents, and that’s how you get real and sustainable change, when you have children teaching adults.”
Westchester County Executive Andy Spano neatly summed up his view about the importance of the recent Children’s Environmental Literacy Foundation, proclaiming |
|
"I found it to be very interesting and enjoyed having the opportunity to speak with the children. We also made some good contacts among the adults who were on hand for the event. The morning and early afternoon hours were quite busy, at times even overwhelming as the waves of students descended on our booth. Providing questions for the EXPO Quest to the students ahead of time was a very good strategy."
