CELF welcomes inquiries about the CELF organization, its programs, the Teacher Alliance and questions related to the advancement of education for a sustainable future. We encourage involvement from those who can contribute expertise and to participate in outreach initiatives that help bring the concepts of sustainability into our children’s lives. Parents are encouraged to contact CELF or their children’s school administrators and teachers to learn what is being done to incorporate sustainability education into their school’s curricula. CELF staff members are available to meet with representatives from interested school systems. Corporations and individuals may participate in bringing sustainability education to more school systems in a variety of ways, including through CELF’s Sponsor-A-Teacher Program, which strives to bring the best, most comprehensive curriculum and professional workshops from around the world to K-12 classroom teachers and administrators. Corporations that would like to serve as role models and mentors for students and to introduce real-world examples of sustainable development to students and the community are encourage to participate in CELF's annual Students for a Sustainable Future EXPO. CELF welcomes inquiries from all potential sponsors and stakeholders. The Children’s Environmental Literacy Foundation CELF is a member of the US Partnership for the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development and is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation. |
